ABOUT
Golf writing worth reading.
ParTee GC is an independent golf publication for people who care about the game beyond the leaderboard. Long-form essays, gear that earns its place, courses worth driving for, tour life and culture.
Why we exist
Most golf media in 2026 is one of three things: a press-release rewriter, a 90-second highlight machine, or a country-club nostalgia outlet. ParTee GC is none of those.
We are an independent publication built around a simple editorial bet: there is a generation of golfers — younger, less traditional, more design-conscious — who want long, opinionated, well-written golf journalism that doesn’t apologise for either being long or being opinionated. The kind of writing you’d save to read at the weekend.
What we cover
Tour Life — Reporting from inside the professional game. Caddies, money, schedules, rivalries, the bits the broadcast networks miss.
Essays — Long reads on the culture, history and characters of golf. Sunday-morning reading.
Course of the Week — The courses worth playing, the holes worth fearing, the trips worth taking.
Hot Takes — The opinions that get you dropped from the group chat.
Fit of the Week — Style and gear, reviewed honestly, by people who actually play.
The Board — News, results and what they actually mean.
Who’s behind it
ParTee GC is edited and published by JB Beswetherick, a 9-handicap with strong opinions and a colour-coded golf schedule. The site launched in 2025 and publishes 2-4 new articles a week.
The newsletter — the ParTee Weekly — goes out every Friday. One email. The best of the week. No spam, ever.
How we make money
ParTee GC is funded by a mix of display advertising and affiliate commission on gear recommendations. We do not accept paid editorial. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture.

Editorial standards
Every piece on ParTee GC follows our published Editorial Standards — sourcing, fact-checking, corrections. We take that part seriously.
