Editorial Standards

How ParTee GC writes, fact-checks and corrects its journalism.

Our editorial mission

ParTee GC publishes long-form, opinion-led editorial about golf — the tour, the culture, the gear, the courses. We write for golfers who care about more than the leaderboard. Our standard is simple: every piece should be worth the reader’s time.

How we source

Quotes attributed to named individuals are either from on-the-record interviews conducted by a ParTee GC writer, from press conferences and official broadcasts, or — where clearly indicated — quoted from another publication with citation.

Anonymous quotes are used sparingly and only where the source has direct knowledge of the matter being discussed and where attribution would compromise their position. Anonymous sourcing is always flagged in the article with the qualifier ‘speaking anonymously’ or similar.

Statistics, performance data and historical records are drawn from official tour data (PGA Tour, DP World Tour), official championship sites, and recognised data providers (Data Golf, ShotLink). Where a number is contested or estimated, we say so.

Fact-checking and corrections

Every article is checked by the writer before publication. Material claims — particularly historical records, financial figures and player-attributed quotes — are verified against at least one primary source.

If you spot an error, please email us via the Contact page. Confirmed factual errors will be corrected and the article will carry a visible correction note at the foot of the page.

We do not silently edit history. Where a piece is updated post-publication for accuracy, the change is noted.

Editorial independence

ParTee GC accepts no paid editorial placements. No brand, retailer, agency or representative may purchase coverage on this site. Where a piece is sponsored or partner-supported, it is labelled clearly at the top of the page as ‘PARTNER CONTENT’ or ‘SPONSORED’.

Affiliate commission is fully disclosed on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Corrections policy

Typographical errors are corrected silently.

Factual errors are corrected with a note at the foot of the page identifying what was changed and when.

Material misrepresentations — where the framing of a piece is judged to have been unfair or wrong — receive a stand-alone correction post in addition to the in-line correction.

Contact the editor

All editorial questions, corrections, story tips and complaints can be sent via the Contact page or directly to the editor at editor@parteegc.com.
